Missing Favorites in IE8
I installed ie updates and favorites were gone.
When trying to add a link on the favorites bar it states yahoo(2) and when trying to add a foltder to my favorites list (travel), it states that the forlder is already there...where? I have looked in most
laces that I know but cannot find anything.

2. Do you find the favorites list empty in the Internet explorer 8?
3. What is the version of Windows installed on the computer?
Navigate to the following location and check if you find all your favorites available.
C:\Users\ (user name)\Favorites
Note: In Windows XP the above location changes to C:\Document and settings\ (user name)\Favorites

- Open Internet Explorer.
- Go to "Tools > Internet Options > Advanced Tab".
- Uncheck "Enable third-party browser extensions".
- Click "Apply".
- Reboot your computer.
